काश कि पैसे पेड़ों पर उगते,
मैं भी घर बहुत पेड़ लगाता !
पैसे के पैसे मिल जाते,
और पेड़ का पेड़ लग जाता !
दुनिया भी हरी भरी दिखती,
नोट भी हरा कहलाता !
नोट पर फिर क्या गाँधी छपते,
शहीद देश का क्या?छप पाता?
मुझ से पूछने आते सब,
क्या तरीका , अपना पेटेंट करवाता ?
क्या मैं पैसा फिर बांटता जाता?......
या फिर उस से बीज बनवा ,
लोगों के घर में लगवाता ?
बारिशें भी होती खूब,
फसल पैदावार रिकॉड टूट जाता !
भूखा गरीब कोई न मिलता,
गरीब नहीं गरीबी ख़तम हो जाता !
मैं भी घर पेड़ लगाता ............
पर सोचा ? मनसा,लगाये तूँ ,
पैसा पड़ोसी तोड़ ले जाता !
बाहर तो बिलकुल नहीं ,
पेड़ घर के अन्दर लगाता !
इसी लिए शायद ऍफ़ . डी . आई ,
देश भी अपने घर लगवाता !
शहर की हैं तंग गलियों में घर ,
धूप मैं घर कैसे घुसवाता ?
जमीन देखूं सब ओर् रहीं न ख़ाली,
क्या वापस भाग गाँव को जाता ?
मैं भी पेड़ लगाता ? ............
गोबर ,गायें संभाल न पायें ,
गैस से लेकर खाद तक विदेशों से मंगवाता ?
घर बनाने में जिन्दगी लगा दी ,
क्यों न पेड़ों में ही घर बसाता !
हवा ,आक्सीजन भी मिलती पूरी,
शायद पेड़ भी न कोई कटवाता !
अगर सारे पेड़ पैसों के लगा दिए,
फल सब्जी कहाँ से खाता ?
क्या गारंटी, दुसरे भी फल सब्जी उगाये,
मनसा,फल लेने क्या विदेश जाता ?
बात पते की कल कह गए मनमोहन,
पता नहीं क्यों देश समझ पाता !
मैं भी घर पेड़ लगाता ............
पैसे का पेड़ कहाँ लग पाए ,
सेब का पेड़ जैसे पहाड़ पर लग पाता !
मैदान में ही रहता क्यों ,
घर पहाड़ पर ही बनवाता !
और सोचूं ,ऐसा बीज कहाँ मिले,
जगह थोड़ी,पैसा खूब लग जाता !
ऐसे ही बच्चों को स्कूल पढ़ाया,
क्यों न उन्हें नेता बनाता !
कहीं बीज कोयला से मिलते,
पर चारा अकेला लालू खा जाता !
मत कर चिंता,टू जी जैसे रास्ते अनेकों,
संसद में उलझा,रास्ता कोई नया बनाता !
बीज की तो न रहती चिंता,
सरकार बचाने, कोई घर आ,दे जाता!
नेता पैदा करते सपूत,
नेता बनने की डिग्री ?जनम से लाता ?
नेता मैं खुद गर बना होता,
आसानी से बच्चा भी बन जाता !
और मिल बाँट खाने का,
हुनर फ्री में ही आ जाता !
क्या मैं फिर पेड़ लगाता ?..........
मिल बाँट खाओ सीख,समझा अब,
था हर बजुर्ग क्यों कह जाता !
क्यों मनसा तू गरीब के स्कूल खोले,
वो ही पैसा लंगर में लगाता !
हर गरीब रह जिन्दा बनता नेता,
अपने आप कमाने लग जाता !
न चिंता सिलेंडर डीजल की,
देश का विकास, अपना खूब हो जाता !
सड़कों पर उतरें नेता पार्टी मिल होली जैसे,
बंद खुले के चक्कर में घोटाला हर भूल जाता !
घर बार इज्जत शोहरत सुविधा सब ,
सरकार से सरकारी खर्चे पर पाता !
एक बार बन कर पांच साल में ,
पीढ़ीयों तक के लिए जोड़ जाता !
लगता नेता का बीज पेड़ के बीज से बड़ा,
पेड़ छोड़ो नेता लगाओ,
पैसा फिर अपने आप उग जाता !

मनसा,फाँसी की सजा ही ख़तम कर दो ,
गुनाह करते समये,है डर?गुन्हागार को!
सोचते वो ! मर तो जाना एक दिन ,
कर गुजरते?हो कितना भयानक,काम को!
मारो नहीं जिन्दा रखो,
पालो नहीं,जोतो बैल की जगह काम को!
बह्कावें में किसी के कोई क्यों आये ,
समझे पाँव की जूती हमारे कानून इंतजाम को !
केस कसाब का जो वकील लड़ रहा,
फूल एक रोज भेंट करों उस जनाब को!
देख पढ़ जेल,कानून के तौर तरीके ,
सजा की देरी क्यों,होंसले बढ़ाये, वारदात को !
उसने मारा हम मारेंगे नहीं ,
फाँसी माफ़ी की जगह क्यों न मांगे मौत को!
कसाब ने अपने पाँव पर चल,
भून डाला,राह चलतों, क्यों आवाम को !
क्या उसने छांटा हिन्दू मुसलमाँ,
समझों,मारने वालों की जात ओकात को !
जिन हाथो से उसने बन्दुक उठाई,
छोड़ा अब तक क्यों तुम ने उस हाथ को!
जिन पाँव से चल मुंबई गोलीयां चलाईं,
मारी क्यों न गोली अब तक उस लात को !
सजा उसको दो जिसके सहारे अपराध किया,

आयें रोज लोग जूतों का हार चढाने ,
दिखाओ टी.वी पर रोज लाइव हर देश प्रान्त को!
मांगें खाना पानी भिखारी की तरह,
ले सहारा खाने के लिए,तरसे अपने हाथ पाँव को !
पूछें रोज उससे आकर जिन ने थे अपने खोये,
मार मिला क्या तुझे, क्यों भूला अल्लाह राम को!
देख बता फर्क ,बच्चो की आँखों के आंसू,
मार डाला था दरिंदगी से जिन के बाप को !
मरें थे जिनके भाई गोलिओं की बोछार में,
बहनें सारी बांधें धागे कस कस कसाब को !
ढीला बांधो ,हलकी आह निकले जुबा से,
मांगता फाँसी माफ़ी ,किस ? इन्साफ को!
जिन माँओं के बेटे नोजवान छीन लिए ,
याद आये नानी न सही,पर याद तो करे माँ को!
भीगे भरी तूफानी जोरदार बरसात में ,
जेल छत निचे कम्बल में सोये क्यों रात को!
पिंजरे में खुले में हम बेजुबान जानवर रखें,
दें छत बिस्तर क्यों दरिंदें इंसान को !
हैं कुछ लोग जो इंसान के नाम पर धब्बा ,
हक़ इंसानियत से क्या? करें माफ़ ऐसे इंसान को !
कभी अपना खून भी बहता उसी जगह देखे,
या रहे पड़ा देखता उसी,रँगा खून से फुटपाथ को !
जिन्दगी उस की देख सबक लें हर कोई ,
डर हो इतना ,न दे पाए साथ ,अपराध को !

रेट बढ़ाये डीजल गैस के ,
बोझ बराबर,करोडपति या बेरोजगार !
एक रेट से मिले सिलेंडर सबको ,
वाह रे समानता का अधिकार !
एक जैसी सब्सिडी सबको मिले,
वाह रे समानता का अधिकार !
हर बार बोलें कंपनी को घाटा,
बुनियादी सुविधा क्यों नहीं दे सरकार!
माना की होगा कंपनी को घाटा,
होता क्यों ,मनसा,कभी किया विचार !
रेट सिलेंडर का एक सा सब को लग रहा,
क्यों न कीमत वसूलें कमाई अनुसार !
पैन ,वोटर,राशन ,कार्ड न जाने कितने,
काम क्यों नहीं आता केवल कार्ड आधार !
तकरीबन हर देश में एक कार्ड चले,
हमारे देश में खाने के रस्ते क्यों हज़ार !
अंगूठा,आँख,चेहरा,इनकम सब तस्वीर ली ,
आधार कार्ड पर फिर क्यों नहीं एतबार !
आधार कार्ड पर सब्सिडी प्रतिशत तए हो,
अलग अलग इनकम अनुसार !
खाने पिने रहने की सुविधा सब को चाहिए,
प्रजा का भी ध्यान रखो,बने हो देश के सरदार!
टोल टैक्स क्यों लगातें कारों पर ,
ले लेते हो जब शुरू में ही रोड टैक्स भरमार !
गर लगाया तो क्या? सोचा आपने,
एक सा हो,मर्सिडीज़ या टूटी मारुती कार !
विकास असली तभी होता मनसा,
सुखी हो जनता देश में सारी,मंत्री हो या चोंकिदार !
विकास के नाम कहीं न हम देश बेच दें,
कर लो अब भी सही सोच विचार !
सतर प्रतिशत जनता गरीब हमारी,
उनमें पचीस प्रतिशत करे फल सब्जी कारोबार ,
अगर बड़ी बड़ी कंपनिया ये काम हथिया गयीं ,
हो न जाये कंही अनपढ़ गरीब बेरोजगार !
कुछ ऐसा सोचो कि इनका काम भी चलता रहे,
और चलती रहे आपकी भी सरकार !
समानता ? कहीं अर्थ आप गलत नहीं समझें ,
कीमत सामान करने से कुछ नहीं होगा,
अमीर हो गरीब हो सब का है जीने का समान अधिकार !

पकड़े जानेपर चोर बतलाएं एक दूजे की पार्टी को ,
संसद बंद करवा ,करोड़ों और खर्चवातें क्यों हैं ?
कभी कोयला ,कभी चारा , कभी कुछ ,
जिसके हाथों जो विभाग आया, खाये जातें क्यों हैं ?
जिस डाल पर बैठे,काटे जाते,अपने परिवार खातिर,
लाखों परिवार उससे पल जाए, न सोच पाते क्यों हैं ?
जनता को दें छोटी सी दुकानें भी नीलामी कर ,
कंपनियों को नीलामी नहीं, आवंटन करवातें क्यों हैं ?
हो गए आवंटन ,पत्थर की लीक हो गयी,
नुकसान वसूल, आवंटन रद करने में समय लगातें क्यों हैं ?
ये कंपनियाँ खर्चे करें पैसा चुनाव पर ,
सिस्टम कर काबू, मनमर्जी अपनी चलवातें क्यों हैं ?
क्यों नहीं नेता चुनाव अपनी छवि पर लड़तें ,
पार्टियाँ अपने नाम से चुनाव लड्वातीं क्यों हैं ?
धांधली सारी इसी चक्र में है, मनसा ,
बर्बाद देश का बहुमूल्य पैसा, चुनाव में होता क्यों हैं ?

देश प्रेमी नेता न कहलातें क्यों हैं ?

क्रिकेट बहाने कुछ आये थे,अब पूरी छुट हो गयी,

नकली नोट हमारे अधिकतर पाक में बनें,
कर्रंसी हमारी कम भी छपे, नोट कम फिर भी न होतें क्यों हैं ?
लम्बा चुप रह समय निकालें, कभी गिनवांये समस्याएं ,
हमारे देश के प्रधानमंत्री इतने लाचार बने जातें क्यों हैं ?
आखिर हार कल जनता से बोले,उठो मिलजुल कुछ करो,
करना सब जनता ने ही है, तो आप प्रधानमंत्री बनें,क्यों हैं ?
सरकार बनाने के तरीके , अब बदले जनता ,
पांच सालों बाद सरकारें बदलें जाते क्यों हैं ?
ईमानदार नेता का कार्यकाल बढ़ाती रहे जनता ,
दे सजा तुरंत बदले बेईमान, देर लगातें क्यों हैं ?

सिस्टम कुछ ऐसा न बनातें , क्यों हैं ?

सामने तो नज़र आतें हैं प्रधानमंत्री जनता को,

जब बन गया तो क्यों?लगे ईंट पत्थरों का घर !!
दिलों में, न रहे जब प्यार जरा सा ,
क्यों ? बेगाना सा लगता है अपना ही घर !!
घर ! किसे कहते हो ? घर !........
सात फेरों की आड़ में ,घर किसी के,से उजाड़ लाये ,
बसाने किसी को तुम अपना ही घर !!
सोते, रहते, हँसतें, इख्ठे,गुजारी तमाम उम्र,
फिर बाद में हो क्यों?ये तेरा घर ! ये मेरा घर !!

Jeevan Mukt Nishulak Vidyalaya is a registered NGO which is managed by selfless group of social workers. This organization has been working for the children of needy and economically backward section of society, by providing free education to them. It also works for the general upliftment of these children of lesser God, by imbibing moral values in them along with all good qualities of an Indian citizen.
Such children are mostly seen begging outside temples , on road crossings, assisting their parents in factories as child laborer or rag pickers at garbage heaps. This organization has been working for the last seven years. Mr. Mansa Ram Ahuja, resident of H. No. 114, Sector 9 of Panchkula, started this noble act in Haripur Village Sector-4 with only 10 children. Other like minded social workers joined hands with him and due to combined efforts; many socially backward and economically poor children are being benefitted with better educational facilities.
At present 14 free education centres’ are being run and managed by this organization at different places like Jagatpura, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Dapper (Dera bassi), Chhota Shimla and Sunet, BRS nagar, Ludhiana. In total 3500 children are studying in these centres and schools. The organization provides all types of educational facilities to the children upto V standard and then they are admitted to different Govt. and private schools. In many schools of tricity, nearly 1200 students of this organization are not only studying but competing successfully with the children of other sections of the society. The complete expenditure of these 1200 students is borne by this only.

WHAT WE DO
We believe that education is every child's right. Learning and education lead to creativity, ambition, and dreams. More over to create a healthier, more caring, and more productive global society. We believe that children's future can be secure only when the children are insulated from exploitation, violence, abuse, and neglect. A safe environment provides children with the opportunity to participate fully in their communities, to exercise their skills and talents, and to pursue their dreams. Access to education has a positive impact on a host of social problems afflicting marginalized children.
Children who attend school are more likely to develop a positive self-image and higher self-esteem and to set goals for the future. In India most of families living hand-to-mouth, utterly depend on each day's wages. In this environment of pervasive poverty, it's not unusual to see children as young as four or five working long hours under the broiling Indian sun, hauling bricks, harvesting crops, or herding animals. Like all parents everyone wants a brighter future for their children. If given the chance, these honourable people would happily send their children to school. Even for those who live near enough to a school, the required fees for uniforms, books and supplies are too high. When people are barely making enough to feed their children, how can they spare any money for school fees?
Intimately familiar with the unique challenges and needs in the India, JMNV has been working to bring free, quality education to the children. Before any funds were available, as more and more people have opened their hearts and given their support to JMNV vision of providing free education.We provide eatables , clothing , books etc to the children.

COMPUTER EDUCATION:
Besides studies, computer training is being provided at schools in Jagatpura, Nayagaon and Dappar at Derabassi. We have received donations of over 24 computers by different multinational companies and active members of our society. Students of PEC and other engineering colleges give free coaching to the students of these schools from time to time.
STITCHING & EMBROIDERY:
In Jagatpura and Nayagaon, stitching and embroidery is taught to young girls to enable them to be self sufficient for earning their livelihood. Sewing machines have been donated by the generous and kind souls of the society. Nearly 75 girls have already completed their training and now earning their livelihood respectfully as self employed.
INSPIRATION:
Besides literary skills, the students are taught about self hygiene and surroundings cleanliness and awareness of saving water and electricity. This will help them to be good citizens of tomorrow and take a step towards bright future.

True to its cause, JMNV provides education services at root level which means providing basic level of schooling to children in slum areas. These children, who in most cases have resorted to begging, child labor or crime, are adopted by the organization and given the opportunity to receive the gift of education.
JMNV has created a full circle of education and employment through its programs. Apart from its instructional programs for kids, the organization also provides opportunities to work for unemployed adults. Many of the teachers are originally from slum communities. J.M.N.V. helps provide them the opportunity to complete a higher level of education whilst they transfer their newly learned skills into lessons for the children.
Today JMNV has been able to reach out to over 10,000+ kids through its diverse educational and vocational programs. The root cause for this success has been its ability to create an infrastructure that is part derived from micro financing and part by its efforts to collaborate with private and public schools and colleges. The end result is not only increase in number of students but the overall retention rate.
All our programs are designed:
1. To initiate and support education efforts at root levels of society.
2. Towards a holistic approach to learning that creates awareness to social issues on community level.
3. To help retain and push forward the students towards higher education and adoption of a career.
4. To replicate the successful models and implement those to reach out to large number of people.
We strongly believe in working with local bodies and government organization in field of primary education to help support the work. Our programs are a supplement rather than replacement of any government program.

Going to the temple to thank the Almighty for blessings was a daily routine with local businessman, Mansa Ram Ahuja. “I used to go there looking for peace, but was always troubled to see hordes of street urchins jostling with each other, seeking alms from devotees. I would often think that these children would grow up seeking alms, and begging would become a habit. It was then that I decided to set up schools for these children,” he says.
And sure enough, Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya was born four years ago. Beginning from teaching the children of his domestic help, and servants working in his locality, he has now started 10 schools for 750 child beggars and labourers.
“I always believed that education was the key to enlightened souls. “Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya”... this sholaka has always inspired me and so I decided that the best option to deal with child beggars will be to educate and teach them self respect,” he says.
Their efforts are already beginning to show results. Ram Das (10), who has been in the school for three years, was a help at a dhaba in Industrial Area. He was taken in by the Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya and he now tops in his class.
But it has not been an easy task. He began his first school at a family-owned vacant plot at Haripur village, Sector 4. Most of these children who were used to begging near the temples in various sectors refused to come to his school. He then approached the managements of various temples, requesting them that some place be allotted to him to run schools for these children. Not only would the problem of child begging be solved, but it would be a perfect social service, he pleaded.
“Initially, these managements were unwilling to let the urchins use their premises, but slowly they let down their defences. As of now, we have schools running for children at Shiv Mandir, Sector 9, Geeta Mandir, Sector 11, Gita Mandir, Sector 16, and Parshuram Bhavan, Sector 12-A, besides schools in the open outside the Sectors 6 and 10 temples and in Sector 14 outside the Shiv Shakti Apartments. Our children are being weaned away from begging and some of them work with their parents after school,” he says.
Recently, Andale Public School, Sector 9, opened its doors to the NGO. “We have allotted rooms to the NGO where these children are given initial training. Once they learn to read and write, we assess their calibre and allot them classes along with our regular students,” informs Principal, Mrs Kiran Bhasin.
A commission agent by profession, Mr Ahuja says that his philanthropic activities now leave no time for business. “Since I have a joint family, my brothers realised my penchant for social service and have not bothered me much. Over the period of time, fellow businessmen and some professionals, too have come out to help us run these schools. We have employed 16 teachers, and two of these teachers are working on honorary basis,” he says.
He says that they are now looking for help in terms of building, to shift open schools. “Since we intend keeping these children at school for longer hours and teach them other activities, we are now trying to arrange for lunch for our students by some NGO,” he adds.

A ray of hope for slum children

Twentyseven children from the slums of Mauli and surrounding areas got a new lease of life. Like their friends, they will go to a regular school and attend classes courtesy Jiwan Mukat Nishulk Vidyalaya, an NGO working with slum children, beggars and urchins, in their city.
Admitted to Friends Public School, Mauli, the education of these children aged between four and nine years will be funded by the NGO. "We are working out the details with the school. However, they have extended facilities to us irrespective of these terms," Mansa Ram Ahuja, president and founder of the NGO said.
Uniforms of the children have been donated by a member of the NGO, Mr RK Sood, a resident of Sector 21. "It is only due to contributions like these that we have been able to educate nearly 1500 children begging in the marketplace and outside temples. It has been an uphill task getting the whole thing going but gradually the trend is picking up and more and more people are joining us in this endeavour," Mr Ahuja stated.
The group of 27 children was excited as they entered the school premises, sparkling in their brand new uniforms. From diverse backgrounds, they are scrap dealers' children, orphans , children of labourers and those of rickshawpullers.
"The parents were keen that their children study but did not have money to fund their education. So, we decided to step in and offer our services. Their one other condition was that the children study in Mauli itself so that there is no transportation cost involved in going to and coming back from school," Mr Ahuja explains.
At present, the vidyalaya is funding education of 567 children in various private schools. Nearly 1000 children are receiving informal education by staff at premises of temples in various sectors. The target group, however, continues to be illiterate beggar children.
Meanwhile, speaking about the fate of children studying at the Rotary building, Mr Ahuja said a couple of schools from Chandigarh had offered to bail them out in case Rotary decides to close it down. "In fact, they have also expressed willingness to take bright students from our informal schools on their rolls," he added.

Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya, Asatoma Satgamaya... this Vedic chant has always had a deep impact on Mr Anil Jain. With an aim to bring young lives out of darkness of ignorance, Mr Jain has adopted 125 ragpickers and child beggars, to provide them with free education.
The philanthropist will now pay the school fees of 125 children studying in a school being run by Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya, at Andale Public School, Sector 9. As many as 750 child beggars, ragpickers and child labourers have been adopted by Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya. These are picked up from outside temples (where they beg for alms), or from the slum colonies and provided education in ten open schools, and in a branch being run in a portion of Andale Public School.
Mr Anil Jain today visited the school and distributed fruits and biscuits to these children. “I had thought of setting up a trust for providing education to poor children in the memory of my parents. Then Mr Mansa Ram Ahuja from Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya approached me and I decided to adopt these children,” he says.
“I always believed that education was the key to be enlightened souls. The best way to deal with child beggars is to educate them and teach them self respect. I strongly believe that they should not be given alms, because we are encouraging them not to work, or uplift their socio- economic status,” he says.
Mr Jain says that he will not only be adopting these children, but will now be mobilising people to provide financial, as well as other kind of help. “There is no dearth of people who will give donations for this noble cause. What we now need is people, who can help and teach these children in the schools being run by Jeevan Mukt Vidyalaya,” he says.
Mr Mansa Ram Ahuja says that they are now looking for someone who can provide them with some land, so that they can set up a residential school for these children. “ We want to remove these children from their environment and provide a more conducive atmosphere for them to learn and mature into responsible persons,” he says.

His determination to survive has been flattened by the apathetic attitude of the Government Multi-Speciality Hospital, Sector 16. Twentythree-year-old Vikram has managed to wade through the worst crisis in life, but the unwillingness of the hospital authorities to provide him daily diet has traumatised the boy.
Discarded by his father Punji Ram after the death of his mother in childhood, the woes of Vikram seem to be never-ending. Hailing from Ramshila in Kulu district of Himachal Pradesh, his both legs were fractured after falling from the third storey of a guest house in Ludhiana, where he was hired for some construction work.
Seeking mercy of certain gentlemen, Vikram virtually crawled his way from Ludhiana to Chandigarh and managed to reach the Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16, on November 17. His ordeal was compounded at the hospital after the authorities discontinued his diet on Wednesday afternoon.
High drama was witnessed at the male ortho wards of the GMSH this morning when some attendants of patients in the ward assembled and objected to the discontinuation of his diet. The doctors and the attendants had an altercation over the issue and subsequently, certain attendants informed mediapersons.
Narrating this sequence of his woes, Vikram said after the accident, he found himself at the Ludhiana busstand on regaining conscious. “I was unable to stand on my legs and I sought help from a Sikh. He purchased a ticket for me to Chandigarh and helped me in boarding the bus,” he recalled.
“Since I was unable to stand, a passenger helped me in getting down the bus at Chandigarh. I crawled to the local bus stand and passed three days without having any food. A group of college students dropped me at the General Hospital, Sector 16, for treatment,” claimed Vikram.
Security guards at the hospital proved helping hands for him and Vikram was admitted to the male ortho ward. The doctors, after scanning his legs, plastered those for his fractures.
Since there was nobody to look after Vikram, Mr Prakash Chand and his wife Raj Bala, attending on their son at the same ward, stood by him and even arranged fruits and eatables for him.
Mr Mansa Ram Ahuja from the Jeewan Mukta Nishulka Vidyalaya, a Panchkula-based charitable organisation, came to the rescue of the boy and took him along. The boy was adopted by Ms Bala Bajaj, a resident of 960, Sector 16, Panchkula this evening.
The medical superintendent of the Government Multi-Speciality Hospital, Dr Usha Bishnoi Kapoor, refused to talk to the correspondent on the issue, saying she was busy in clearing some official files.
Dr MS Bains, director, Health Services, Chandigarh, was not available for comments, being busy in some meeting.

Even the bright sun shining down this December morning failed to bring warmth in the life of 70-year-old Kanshi Ram. Shivering in the verandah of a shop in Sector 9 here, he cried over the loss of his only worldly possessions- a blanket, two shirts and a pair of socks. The bag containing his meagre possessions was stolen last evening.
Having spent all night shivering in the cold, with mercury dipping to 4.6 degrees last night, Kanshi Ram was found in a semi-conscious state by office bearers of an NGO — Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya, when they went to the temple to pay obeisance.
After having fed him warm milk and some warm breakfast, the good samaritans thought that they would admit him to the Old Age Home being run by the district administration in Sector 15 here.
Little did Mr Mansa Ram Ahuja and Mr R.S. Jain, from the Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya, realise that they had planned for the near impossible.
Red tapism in District Red Cross Society-run Old Age Home, Sector 15, ensured that he could not be admitted, on the pretext that the facility was not for homeless, but for senior citizens who did not have anybody to look after them.
Incidentally, Kanshi Ram belongs to Vikas Nagar in Dehra Dun, and had come here for medical aid two years ago.
He had lost his entire family — wife, sister and parents a year before he came to Chandigarh.
“I had no one to go back to, so I decided to stay on in Chandigarh. I had already sold off my shop in Vikas Nagar to bear the medical expenses for getting treatment for enlargement of prostrate gland.
While my treatment was on, I stayed in shelter provided by some voluntary organisations,” he said.
For the past one week, Kanshi Ram was staying outside the temple in Sector 9. He was allowed by the temple management to sleep inside the gaurd’s room at night, but the gaurd, unhappy with the intrusion, allegedly threw him out two days ago. Since then, he was sleeping on the roadside.
The old age home officials also demanded a ration card, a proof of residence, a health certificate and a character certificate by a Municipal Councillor, saying that all these were mandatory before allowing admission in the home. Said Mr M.R. Ahuja,” How can an aged homeless person provide all these documents.
These formalities can be avoided if the Red Cropss Society wants to serve the community,” he said.
It may be mentioned that the old age home here was built almost two years ago spending lakhs of rupees. But till date, there is not a single admission there.
Even as the Old Age Home officials expressed helplessness over admitting him, many street vendors in the area decided to chip in to bring some relief to the old man.
While Chottel Lal, a groundnut seller, gave him a blanket, fruit seller Harbhajan Singh gave him some food. A rape victim, found near the Mansa Devi temple today morning, was admitted to the Civil Hospital in Sector 6. Volunteers of Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya, Panchkula, spotted the woman and took her to the hospital. It was then discovered that she is a patient there and has been admitted to the hospital for more than five months.
According to Mansa Ram Ahuja, president of the NGO, the woman with plaster on her leg, spent the night in the open and was inconsolable when some women approached her offering help.
The victim was earlier found raped near Ramgarh, in a state of shock with multiple injures and a fractured leg on last October 24. After that, the victim was given psychiatric treatment as well, but with very negligible recovery, as she was not able to talk much. She could not be identified by the police as she did not reveal much about herself. However, when a reporter gave her a pen and paper to write her name, she wrote her name as Ranu Bala Bosumotary from Borpata in Assam. She wrote Sri Laskman Bosumatary as her father.
Hospital authorities said the local civil hospital was an open hospital and cases with psychiatry complication should be treated at psychiatry hospitals where trained medical staff are available to handle them.
The victim is so depressed that she has already damaged the plaster on the leg four times, informed the authorities. It is not advisable to keep a patient with such symptoms in the hospital as it could be detrimental not only to her safety but for other patients as well, added the authorities.
The woman is still under shock and does not speak to any one even after five months of the incident. She does not interact for long with other patients admitted in the same ward, added the staff. However, she whispered a few words which others found difficult to understand, said the paramedics at the hospital.
Both the deputy commissioner and the superintendent of police, Panchkula, were urged to take remedial steps in this direction, but nothing was done, rued the authorities.

The president of the Jeewan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya, Mr Mansa Ram Ahuja, who had gone to the shrine to pay obeisance today, saw him shouting at passersby.
“Suspecting that he was mentally unstable, I tried to placate him. When nothing worked, he was taken to General Hospital, Sector 6,” he says.
At the hospital, too, he created a ruckus in the Emergency Ward and ran around all over the hospital “trying to find a place to hide from terrorists”. Finally, the hospital staff managed to catch hold of him and carried out an ECG with great difficulty.
Finding him to be fit and not in need of any immediate treatment, the “unknown patient” was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh. “We did not want to waste time conducting various tests and then referring him to a hospital which would be able to provide the institutional care he required. We sedated him and referred him to Chandigarh where there are special wards to take care of mentally unstable patients,” a doctor at the hospital said. TNS

NGO helps resolve issue

Relatives and a Panchkula-based NGO came forward to help an elderly couple of Zirakpur who had claimed that they were being ill-treated by their sons.
The couple and the sons were asked to thrash out the issue and it was decided that the couple would stay separately.
The sons would return all the money that they had got after selling a house of the family earlier and the parents would not pursue the complaint filed against them with the police at Zirakpur.
Ashok Raina (60) and his wife had sought police protection against their sons. They had complained that they were being beaten up by their children for property and money.
They said they had three sons and the two who were married were harassing them. Ashok has been bed-ridden for the past year.
An NGO, Jeevan Mukt Nishulk Vidyalaya, along with the relatives of the couple, intervened in the matter today and made the sons and the parents reach a compromise.

सोचा बड़ा आसान है सुसाईड नोट पर दो नाम लिख कर मरना ,
क्या पुलिस प्रशासन बाज़ की तरह अपराधी पर नज़र रख पायेगा ,
कहता है मनसा ए ख़ुदकुशी करने वालो ,मरने की जब तुम ठान लो ,
तो सबसे पहले खुद मरने की सोच को ही मार दो ,
रह कर जिन्दा करो हालात से मुकाबला ,

पड़ा रह गया धरा का धरा सोना पैसा ,
बदसूरत बदहाल मिला शारीर उसका , फ़िदा थे लोग खूबसूरती की खातिर ,
सीख इतनी निकल कर आई इस से इतनी ,एह दुनिया वालो
करना ना शादी किसी शादीशुदा से ,हाँ दोस्ती में कोई बुराई नहीं ,
लगी होगी बद दुआ उसके परिवार से , बड़ी से बड़ी दुआ तुझे बचा पाई नहीं ,
अपना घर बनाने के लिए ना किसीका घर तोड़ो , क्या पता उस लालच में छुपी मौत तो आई नहीं

1. ऐसे लोगों की खोज करने का तरीका क्या होगा?

ऐसे लोग अपने देश में ही है , आप एक वेबसाइट बनाईये जिसमे हर शहर का पेज अलग हो हर गाव का पेज अलग हो , वाहा लोग अपने नाम और काम के साथ चरित्र और समाज सेवा के लिए किये कार्य के बारे लोगो को बताये ,और वाहा के लोकल लोग (कमसेकम ५०० लोग ) उसके ईमानदारी ,चरित्र ,गारंटी लिखकर दे . भारत में बहुत से संगठन है , गैरसरकारी संस्थाए है , कमेटिया है , वेल्फाएर ट्रस्ट है ,समुदाय है ,सेना के रिटायर्ड इमानदार , इमानदार जज , कवी इत्यादि ..
जैसे एक शराबी दुसरे को पहचान लेता है ऐसा ही एक अच्छा व्यक्ति दुसरे को पहचान लेगा वैसे आप तो इतने वर्षो तक समाज सेवा में रहे है ,आप ने अपने गाव को शहर से अच्छा बना दिया है ,आप समाजसेवक को और उसके द्वारा किये काम को पहचान लोगे . बस आप को भारत भ्रमण करना है , आज कल तो लोग ८० दिनों में दुनिया घूम लेते है आप के पास तो एक साल से ज्यादा का समय है ,

या सत्यमेव जयते में दिखाए गए लोग जिन्होंने देश के लिए अकेले ही असभव काम कर दिखाए
, वो प्रेस रिपोर्टर जिन्होंने जान पर खेल कर देश के सामने बुराई का पर्दा फाश किया
या वो व्यक्ति जिन्होंने देश का नाम या अपना नाम बनाया हो , अब्दुल कलाम , ,सायना , किरण बेदी , ग्रेट खली , जैसे बहुत लोग ,
बड़े बड़े घरानों के वो लोग जिन्होंने अपना 70 % पैसा गरीबो पर खर्च कर दिया हो

बॉलीवुड में कुछ लोग बड़े पमाने पर समाजसेवा कर रहे है ,उनके पास अपना पैसा बहुत है और भूख नहीं है ............

हर शहर कसबे से आप ज्यादा से ज्यादा (एक शहर से १०० लोग ) लोग चुनिए ,और उन्हें वेबसाइट मीडिया के जरिये लोगो से राय लीजिये ,और जनता उन १०० में से १० चुने और वो दस आपस की सहमति से ५ चुन ले और फिर जनता वेबसाइट से वोट कर एक चुन ले , जो की आप की पार्टी के लिए चुनाव लडेगा , सभी लोगो को आप अपनी टीम में शामिल करिए मुझे आपके बड़े परिवार की बात बहुत अच्छी लगती है , फिर देखिये ये परिवार विशाल हो जायेगा .

3. आज अधिकांश पार्टी बोर्ड लगाती हैं। सभासद नोदनी (रजिस्ट्रेशन) का काम चालू है। भ्रष्टाचारी हो, गुंडा हो, व्यभाचारी हो, लूटारू हो इनको न देखते हुए भी सभासद बनाती है। इस प्रकार के सभासद बनाए तो इस आंदोलन का क्या होगा?

अन्ना जी , यही तो चुनोती है , आपने भी (रजिस्ट्रेशन का काम चालू करना है फर्क सिर्फ इतना है की आपने ऊपर लिखे( भ्रष्टाचारी हो, गुंडा हो, व्यभाचारी हो) ये अवगुण जिस में न हो वो लेने है ,आपने पिछले २ सालो में आन्दोलन बहुत बड़ी संख्या में लोगो के मन में जगा दिया है ,उसकी चिंता आप न करे कर्म करते जाये फल तो भगवन खुदा ने देना है , हर रात के बाद सवेरा होता है ,कुछ दिन बादल छाये है कोई बात नहीं , अच्छे लोग भी (रजिस्ट्रेशन करेंगे अब तो हर परिवार महंगाई ,उलटी शिक्षा पर्नाली ,मिलावट , आदि से सीधे सीधे परभावित है , अगर कल को कोई सिस्टम अच्छा बन जाता है तो इस से सब का फायदा है , मिलावट खोरो से तो बहुत बड़ा खतरा है ,दूध से लेकर राशन पानी तक ,सब नकली , इस सब का असर उन सब लोगो को भी होना है जो चाहे इस समय सरकार चला रहे है उनके परिवार रिश्तेदार इसी देश का अन्न ,हवा ,पानी खा पि रहे है ,अगर मिलावट बढती गयी तो वो भी नहीं बच्च पायंगे , चुनाव यात्रा के दोरान किसी की ज्हुगी में तो कुछ खायेंगे , नहीं तो फोटो खिचवा कर वोट कहाँ ले पायंगे , और २ साल बाद कुर्सी से निचे आयेंगे तो क्या इस देश का अन पानी सारी जिन्दगी नहीं खायेंगे क्या ?
अपने देश में बहुत पहलवान है ,इमानदार भी है , भीम ,अंगद जैसे लोग भी आप को मिल जायेंगे ,. उनकी भी जरुरत है

4. मैं खुद कोई पक्ष-पार्टी में नहीं बनाऊंगा। मैं चुनाव नहीं लडूंगा। लेकिन जनता के सामने विकल्प देने के लिए जरूर प्रयास करूंगा।

आप क्या चुनाव को बुरा मानते है ? देखिये हर काम बुरा भी होता है अच्छा भी . , सिर्फ आप पर निर्भर करता है की किस नियत से करते है , अच्छे लोग चुनाव में नहीं आये तभी तो उनकी संख्या कम है और वो कुछ नहीं कर पाए , मेरा मानना है की मेरा अन्ना पार्लियामेंट में पहुँच गया तो वो अकेला ही बुराई पर भारी पड़ेगा , आप भी चुनाव में आइये जनता के सामने विकल्प अपने आप बनता जायेगा , एक एक सीट बहुमूल्य होगी , कीमती लफ्ज मैंने इस्तेमाल नहीं किया क्योकि अभी तक इस की कीमत ही लगती रही है , आप कुछ अलग करने निकले है , आप ने अनशन शुरू किया लोगो ने आप का बहुत साथ दिया ,आप ने बंद किया कुछ लोग नाराज हुए परन्तु अगर आप चुनाव में आयेंगे तो सभी बहुत खुश होंगे और तन मन समय से आप का साथ देंगे और धन मायेने नहीं रखता संख्या मायने रखती है , वोट हमेशा मन डालता है धन नहीं , कुछ लोग जरुर धन के कारण मन की आवाज नहीं सुनते परन्तु अब अति हो चुकी है , हिन्दुस्थान की एक तिहाई जनता गरीब है , आमिरो की संख्या कम है जो है भी ७०% वोट नहीं डालते ,ज्यादा middle क्लास और गरीब है , वो सभी सरकार के सताये है कारण आप को पता है. अब लोग मन से वोट करेंगे आप जरुर चुनाव में आये , हमें आप आदर्श लगे आप का चेहरा आगे चाहिए , मैं ये भी मानता हु की क्रिशन जी ने पिच्छे रह कर अर्जुन से सब काम करवाए , परन्तु अब आप को हर शहर और हर गाँव में एक एक अर्जुन चाहिए वो आप को मिल सकते है , भीम ,अंगद भी चाहिए

5. आज एक चुनाव के लिए 10 से 15 करोड़ रुपए से भी ज्यादा खर्चा होता है। देश को विकल्प देने के लिए इतना पैसा कहां से लाएंगे?

आप देखिये चुनाव के लिए क्यों 10 से 15 करोड़ रुपए से भी ज्यादा खर्चा होता है ? ज्यादा खर्चा परचार में , और कुछ शराब कम्बल बाटने में , कुछ दावते उड़ाने में , कुछ लोगो की भीड़ इखठी करने में , और यदि कुछ मैं भूल रहा हु तो बताइए ?
१.आप का परचार स्कूल कॉलेज के छात्र , या आप के मेम्बेर्स बेकार पड़े पेपर ,(एक तरफ़ा यूज पेपर ) को इस्तेमाल कर हाथ द्वारा लिखित , गली मोहल्लो में परचार करके करेंगे .
२. आप के परचार के लिए आपकी टोपी हर कोई अपने अपने घर से ले आएगा उसके लिए कोई पैसा नहीं लगाना ,लोग हर शाम हर घर तक पहुचंगे
३. आज फ्री एस ऍम एस की सुविधा नेट पर है , अपने मित्रो रिश्तेदारों को लोग खुद ही कर लेंगे
४. आपको दावते देने की जरुरत नहीं ,अगर जरुरत पड़ी भारत में बहुत लंगर कमेटिया है इस काम को वो कर लेंगी अपने अपने शहर में
५.शराब कम्बल की प्रथा आप बंद करके लोगो को बता सकते हो की दो दिन की शराब के बदले तुम्हारी कमाई ज्यादा हो जाये और महंगाई कम होने से तुम्हारे खर्चे कम हो जाये ,दो दिन नेताओ की कठपुतली बनने से अच्छा पूरा साल आनंद करो .
आपको पैसा नहीं चाहिए और आप मांग भी न करें आप लोगो से उन का दिल मांग ले , आपको वलभ जी और सुबाश चंदर बॉस का रोल भी करना है , नेता जी ने खून माँगा था , आप को केवल देशवासी, देशप्रेमी चाहिए , उनका मन चाहिए , लोगो का साथ ले कर परचार की रणनीति बनाइए , आमिर खान जी, ग्रेट खली जी ,वि के सिंह ,किरण जी इत्यादि लोगो को साथ लीजिये , अगर बिना शरत रामदेव समर्थन दे तो विचार कर लीजिये .

6. चुनाव में चुनकर आने के बाद उनकी बुद्धि का पालट हो गया तो क्या विकल्प है? कारण, जनता चुनकर देते समय अच्छा उम्मीदवार है यह समझकर ही चुनकर देती है। लेकिन कुर्सी का गुण-धर्म है कि कई लोगों की बुद्धि पलट जाती है और स्वार्थ के कारण वह भ्रष्टाचार करने लगते है। जैसे आज कई पार्टियों में दिखाई दे रहा है। उसके बारे में क्या सोच है? ऐसे लोगों की मानटरिंग करने का तरीका क्या है?

विकल्प केवल आप है . अन्ना जी आपने कहा था की मैं कान पकडूँगा , सिर्फ कान पकड़ने से कुछ नहीं होना है आप को दो काम करने पड़ेंगे

२.जिसदिन वो मंत्री बनता है वो एक अपनी विल will court से लिख कर दे मंत्री बन जाने के बाद के कमाए सारे पैसे और प्रोपर्टी सरकार की होगी क्योकि सरकार उसे सारी सुविधाए टेलीफ़ोन ,बिजली, रेल, कार , हवाई , तनख्वाह , नोक्कर , देती तो है ,
मानटरिंग का आप एक ऐसा विकल्प ढून्ढ लो जैसे आप शिकायत करता की मदद इनाम और सुरक्षा से कर दे , आज भ्रष्टाचार तभी हो रहा है शिकायत करने वाले कमज़ोर पढ़ जाते है. अगर कोई कला धन पकड़ वाता है तो उसे २०% इनाम हो ,ताकि हर कोई आगे आ कर इस काम को करे , ये सारा मानटरिंग अपने आप हो जायेगा सरकारी खजाने में सीधा 80 % आ जायेगा , सरकारी ऑफिसर की मौटी मौटी तन्खवाह भी बच जाएगी ,

7. आज पकृति और मानवता का दोहन हो रहा है और सरकार उसे नहीं रोक रही। यह देश के लिए बड़ा खतरा है। क्या विकल्प होगा?

ये काम केवल सरकार का नहीं है , आप देश की गैर सरकारी संस्थाओ ,बॉलीवुड की हस्तियो , बड़े बड़ी हस्तियो ,अम्बानी ,बिरला ,रत्तन टाटा ,प्रेम जी जैसे को एक मंच पर इकठा कर मिलजुल कर काम करने को कहिये ,उसके लिए प्रोजेक्ट बना दीजिए , सरकार,विपक्ष , भी साथ देगी नहीं देगी तो पब्लिक करवा लेगी .

8. जंतर मंतर पर जो हजारों लोग आए थे उनको टीम ने पूछा कि विकल्प देना चाहिए या नहीं और सभी ने हाथ ऊपर उठाए। ये अच्छी बात है। लेकिन सिर्फ जंतर मंतर देश नहीं है। देश बहुत बड़ा है। उनकी भी राय लेना जरूरी है। मेरी अपेक्षा है। देश में 6 लाख गांव हैं। इन सभी गांव की ग्रामसभा की ग्रामसभाओं ने अपना सुझाव पारित करना है कि हम विकल्प मांगते है। इसलिए हमारी ग्रामसभा का सुझाव आपको भेजते हैं कि संसद में अच्छे लोग जाए इस बात से हमारी सहमति है। ग्रामसभा संभव नहीं है वहां पर व्यक्ति ने फार्म पर हस्ताक्षर करके कहने है कि हम विकल्प के लिए तैयार है।
उतर = देश बहुत बड़ा है। परन्तु हमारे देश के बाहर भी छोटे छोटे हमारे देश है जैसे कनाडा में मिनी पंजाब ,लिटल इंडिया और दुसरे देशो में हमारे लोग , जिन्होंने मीडिया टी वि के माध्यम से आपके बारे में सुना ,वो भी चाहते है की हिंदुस्तान की सडको से लेकर खाने पिने में स्वछता और सुन्दरता में आगे निकले , आप हर शहर की संस्थाओ ,संगठनों ,समुदाओ , इत्यादि से राय लो , आप एक मोबाइल नंबर हर शहर का अलग दीजिये ,जिससे लोग एक बार ही मिस कॉल द्वारा वोट कर सके , एक सप्ताह का समय रख दीजिए , और साथ साथ (रजिस्ट्रेशन) का काम भी कर लीजिये .

9. जिस प्रकार गांव में ग्रामसभा का सुझाव होगा उसी प्रकार नगर परिषद्, नगरपालिका, महापालिका में वार्ड सभा और मोहल्ला सभा का भी सुझाव करना होगा। तब स्पष्ट होगा कि लोकसभा में अच्छे लोगों को भेजने की जनता की तैयारी है।
उतर = सभी को अपने अपने लेवल पर काम करना होगा , अगर ४० % अच्छे लोग पर्लिअमेंट तक पहुच गए तो हो सकता है कुछ बुरे लोगो के विचार भी बदल पाए तो वो भी जीत होगी , अगर डाकू अंगुलिमाल बाल्मीकि बन सकता है तो कुछ भी हो सकता है ,
