IF!!!!!!
From Shivangi Sharma
If you can see
Even statue is alive
If you can hear
The silence have voice
If you can smell
Smile has fragrance

If you can feel
Even God is there
If you have faith
Even some words of prayer work
If you can think
Even the Earth can shrink

The life is fast and erratic today
No moment is predictable
Negetivities are all there in world
And for the positive they are responsible
What we should try is to take
Even the bad as important
And to scrutinize the welfare from unfair
As we have very short life span
To prove our strength
And thinking of negative
Will work only as resistance
Because life can be either hard or adventurous
That's up to our view
As for some
Moon is beauty symbol
And it is stained for few

What a woman is..................
From Shivangi Sharma
“I just entered my room and suddenly the room started filling itself with fog, a lot of fog, a suffocating one, I started cuffing, it was all white-blind in front of me, suddenly a black shadow started taking shape clearing up the fog. The shadow had a figure like an identity with long open hair. I heard a sob which was growing louder with each second resulting in a cry. I asked the shadow what happened, so it replied with these lines-
I rarely take birth,
And my birth is even not worth,
I ‘am treated like animal,
No matter how old I ‘am,
In all the 7 ages of me,
I ‘am assaulted by beasts.
I ‘am the reason of life on Earth,
I ‘am respected but just as God,
I ‘am valued but just in papers,
Why is there so much of discrimination,
The world made by me is no more for me,
What have I done?
Where is my fault?
Is this the end of me???
And after speaking the last word, the shadow faded away lightening the room. After its departure I understood, what it was. It was me, with a mirror and a picture of Earth, crying so loud……….”
I, me, you, all are existing in this world because of our mothers who is a woman. The woman is born a girl with a spirit of woman which is no less than God. Just understanding and looking her conscience can wash out your sins. But hey, the sin you bear is of ill-treating, assaulting, killing a girl. It can’t be washed ever.
We call the land we live ‘Mother Earth’, we consider the nature as ‘Mother Nature’, we do all in our life for winning the mercy of Goddess Lakshmi, but the existing women around us doesn’t mean anything but a puppet, with which we can play with all our power. This is all what a woman mean to us???
How easy it is to accuse a lady for girl child, how easy it is to kill a baby-girl, how easy it is to taunt and tease a girl, how easy it is to business girls. This is how we treat a girl, how we respect a woman, what we think of who she is.
Opposing this truth is just like betraying yourself and the society you are slave of. What am I saying can be easily read in newspapers, watched on T.V. but what’s the meaning of listening, watching, or reading when it doesn’t affect us?
A woman don’t need lots of security guards around her, she don’t want some special rights for her, she don’t want to be prayed all the time, she just want people to understand her, respect her, treat her equally.
I ‘am not that intelligent to describe what a woman is, but capable enough to understand the condition of the gender I ‘am, I ‘am not capable of changing the world in moment for women, but can scratch souls to aware the world of what’s happening and what’s not. Just wishing “happy women’s day” will not do the purpose, but understanding the meaning, knowing the need of situation will do.
“HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY”

OUR 2012 AND WHAT WE SHOULD DO IN 2013
From Shivangi Sharma

A new year has begun. All are set to start a new innings of their lives, from a common citizen to famous personalities to the Government to all living creatures. So much new is there to be introduced in every field, From T.V. to films to sports and to the most important, new plans, Laws, Budget (2013) etc.
2012 had been a great year. We had so many achievements as well as losses. Our Hindi Film Industry completed its 100 years & in 2012 there were so many movies that entered the 100 crore club in Box Office collections, but on the other hand we lost some not but a plenty of most important people of this industry who contributed a lot to this Indian cinema. From the first superstar of country Shri Rajesh Khanna to king of romance Yashji. We bore a great loss with lots of new but very talented debutants, new movie trends, National-International successes and lots more.
Now moving to the field of sports, we had a good Year especially at Olympics with 6 medals in our sack. We got new sports Heroes including the most awaited return, who made his comeback very special, the miraculous cricketer Yuvraj Singh. Our not officially but a made National game cricket & its Model players lost their spirit of “men in blue”.
And now from Government sector, we had some new faces. On 23rd July (my birthday:) we got our new respected President Mr. Pranab Mukherjee & not so new but shuffled faces in the Cabinet. Now let’s see how these people benefits our country (or benefits themselves) with their old & new positions.
We had revolutionary mid-year this time with an awakening, a real reality show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ hosted by a thoughtful entertainer Mr. Amir Khan (one of my idol). His glance towards our society, its problems, its causes & consequences & its solutions, the show raised topics of social issues to environmental issues. With Amir Sir’s enthusiastic & awakening voice, heart-eye capturing themes, emotional songs, it brought the whole country together doing the same work, watching/ listening “Satyamev Jayate”. The show work as an anti-virus in our virusful society, but the viruses in our society are so strong & obstinate that just aware actions are not sufficient, it must be uprooted from the beginning.
It was assumed that the world will come to an end, well this assumption was proved a misassumption but in India, humanity came to an end, when a 23 year old girl was found brutally harassed by 6 beasts in a moving bus. The girl was gang-raped & gone through a murder trial finally rests in peace after many surgeries and letting country come forward for the most shameful disease that needed to be cured, which was in our society from era’s. The biggest charge sheet ever led to instant & brutal decision against criminals. But just these new laws & help lines will completely this type of assault and battery against women? We have to change our mindset, our thinking with advancing world, we should teach our children how to respect, how to decide the right, to be never afraid of wrong & always step forward against any wrong happening in front of us.
There are so many challenges in front of us again, for making our country secure, prosperous, advanced, mannered one. We have many work, many projects to do that were appealed to do in2012 for the social welfare. There are so many changes we need today. Wish we could make all these actually true, will actually work to make our country like our idols wanted. We must actually work now…. (I wish, I hope we’ll be cherished with a good India). HAPPY NEW YEAR.

A ray so bright
From Shivangi Sharma
A RAY SO BRIGHT
Nobody is here
To listen to my words,
No one is here to examine my works,
Nobody is here to offer shoulder
To keep head on,
It’s all empty around me
And inside my soul

There’s no one with whom
I can share my sorrow,
No one to be with my good times,
No one to paint my imagination
No one to cure my heartache
In this hard time

Why it happens
When you want someone
To be with you
Nobody is there
To even hear
All your pain
Alone you have to bear
Nobody seems to understand your frustration
Understand your situation

Something’s like that
Is happening with me
I ‘am destroying myself
By thinking only about my emptiness

Now,
I ‘am speechless
But still hopeful
Somewhere hopeless
But still faithful

Speechless about my situation
Hopeful about my tomorrow
Hopeless about my today
Faithful towards my work

Wish I could find
A ray so bright
To brighten up my darkness
To control me from my harshness
I ‘am hopefully hopeless
Speechlessly speaking my mind
Hope I could find
The ray so bright!

From Shivangi Sharma
“KNOW MORE THAN OTHERS
WORK MORE THAN OTHERS
EXPECT LESS THAN OTHERS’’

This quotation is like a complicated equation. Usually a person interprets this as a key to success to achieve a target and is applicable too. In our Hindu mythology it is also said ‘karma kar phal ki chinta mat kar’ which means do your work devotedly, don’t care about result. Man has a tendency to dream very big for the work, we don’t care about the work, we just think about its result, who knows about tomorrow, nobody even know what will happen to them their next minute, then dreaming and planning for so far will not give anything but pain if we failed to get it. The great Shakespeare said “Expectations always hearts”. Its natural, if a man will expect more than others, he will definitely get hurt because nobody can fully quench the thirst of another man. Human being has a mentality of predicting about their future and sit mourning about it. If you work for something hardly you desire it heartily so you will definitely get it. And if doesn’t happen, don’t stay down, try again because nobody knows, God gives bigger than our dreams.
It’s our duty to achieve something, we should gain more knowledge as much as we can, work harder and harder, don’t leave anything in the work even if you know the result. Self confidence is the first step and very crucial step to success. And when we are satisfied with our work we should not care about the result. If we had worked hard, devotedly so the success would take care of itself. Don’t expect much from others, result can be not favoring you, but still keep faith in yourself, in your work, keep faith in God. God always likes to know again & again what you want, it’s not that God forgets your needs; God actually loves to feel the sweetness of your prayer. Life is erratic, can’t predict, what the next moment of life will show us. Be positive…………..

Student of the year- movie review
From Shivangi Sharma
A place where life begins of any child, place where base of values are constructed, what if that place changes to battle field. Friendship seems to be most important in school life, what if a wall of competition is constructed between friendship?
Karan Johar's new romantic drama Student of the year reveals the answer. Debutant Siddharth Mlhotra as versatile, all-rounder, ambitious, small-town boy, Alia Bhatt as style icon, most beautiful girl of school a brat but cute, Varun Dhawan as complete brat rockstar but very emotional did full justice with their role. The story tells about how friends, family, love broke in a competition and how it again fixed all the things, how friends become foe how again they become friends. Full of KJO made love, beautiful picturisation that anyone can fall in love with the treo. A must watch for friends and Family will really make your day and will make you think of something and you'll must say 'yeh nhi dekhi to bahut kuch miss kar diya yaar'.

UNFORGETTABLE SCHOOL LIFE
From Shivangi Sharma

Those smiles after sarcasm
Those smiles after each line
Writing so fast
Those laugh like untangled vine

That mimicry of teachers
That fear of not doing homework
The game of throwing chalks
The lunch break in which we rocked

Those silly drawings on board
Writing pun comments on uniform
Those screaming announcements of test
The scold after PTM we get

Those unforgettable taunts of teachers
That dumbness of some friends
Eating lunch between periods
Those sharing of pencil, notes & pen

Those high-fives
Those dance-delights
Those camps during school
The life of being fool n cool

That mellow-drama by girls
Those indigestive pranks of boys
That sharing of aloo-puri-paratha
That never ending hungama

Those Exam-days
Those question paper faced
Chatting-facebooking in those days
Finding ways for lays

Those empty pockets @ food corners
Our phones with only message vouchers
Those excuses for going to friend’s house
& then those interesting hang-outs

Those excuses for bringing mobiles & cameras in School
Those unlimited GB photos & videos
Those functions & ceremonies
That study which was unfortunately necessary

Those teachers smile
After School time
Hating those book worms
Making fun of each other

Those fast heart-beats
During the time when results about to reveal
That party after mental condition’s roller coaster ride
That fame that pride

Will miss all these things, these acts
And many more unmentioned facts
Will miss the brightest, funniest, craziest,
Emotional, critical yet happiest
Our school Days

Will never forget this life
Till we are alive

"That mellow-drama....hungama"
This part was the best in your poem...
Some lines seemed added just to fit in(Ex: Finding ways for lays)
which otherwise would have created more impact..
Good work though...

Is being a woman so easy?
From Shivangi Sharma

From struggle for birth,
To the sacrifice of life,
From accusation of burden,
To handling the burden all time,
From being accused as a pain,
To bearing pain of everyone with smile,
From being sacrificed for family’s dreams and prosperity,
To doing all works without complaint,
This is a lady,
Is being a woman so easy?

She gives birth
Not only to a child,
But to a peaceful world,
To valuable time,
To a cultural community,
She is responsible of making a family,
Is being a woman so easy?

She fights to born,
She fights to give birth,
She bears all the pain,
She is like magic on earth,
She makes a house home,
She brings the education to home,
The education of literacy,
Education of values & good deeds,
She thinks of whole world before her,
She handles the outside work with homework,
She has 10 other virtual hands
Which works day & night,
But still she fights
To bring herself in light.

She is the maker
But everyone destroys her,
Firstly she is victim of
Father’s ego to take birth,
Then victim of the society’s myth’s
Then of this cruel world’s worst vision,
Then victim of husband’s anger,
House-hold works,
And then ultimately a victim of
Her child’s disobedience,
But she never complains,
She makes herself busy,
Is being a woman so easy?

If it is not so easy,
So who are we,
To make her a victim of such things
Who are we,
To rule her,
Who gave us the right,
To accuse her in anyway,
If we are something
Then promise to ourselves,
That we’ll never hurt them,
Give them proper respect
Make them reach on their deserving places,
So only we could cherish
The world
If we make a girl,
Make her what she wanna be,
Because being a woman is not at all easy.

This is for those who are mad to know the future
From Shivangi Sharma
A common question

There’s a common question
In everyone’s mind,
Everybody thinks of it
At vary stage of life,
And sometimes, every stage of life.

The question is-
What’s our tomorrow,
Tomorrow is the biggest question ever,
And will remain biggest forever.
To solve this question
To come out from this messy ocean
We do so much,
Go to prophet
Predict ourselves
Just to know the next

We believe others
We go according to them,
We think we got the aim of our life
But hey, where’s the life here.
Life is not to be planned
And run according to those plans,
Yes, future plans are important for life
But not life,
You, me and nobody knows
What would happen next,
If something goes wrong
The plans would fail
With the failure of life too.

Life is to be lived
Not to spend in confusion or anxiety
The anxiety of tomorrow
But we forget that,
We are spoiling our today too
If there’s no today, how can anyone
Think of tomorrow.

Every second of life is to be lived
Then only we could think
Thinking about tomorrow
With lively full today,
and melodious memory of yesterday.

Our Democracy
From Shivangi Sharma
What do we understand from “Democracy”. Democracy is based on the idea of deliberation and negotiation. We generally define it as ‘by the people, from the people, for the people’. So it is always expected of a better Government in country than the non-democratic countries. Like everything has its advantages as well as disadvantages, Democracy has it’s too. Its disadvantages are like less or slower economic growth in country, delays in decision making etc., but these things cannot reject democracy or be said as not good as there are more advantages of it.
Having a Democratic Government in India, there are many expectations of citizens in which our today’s Government has failed to fulfill them.
Democracy ensures that decision making under its rule will be based on norms and procedures. So it is expected that citizen has the right to know and examine the decision making, known as transparency, which is often missing in non-democratic Governments. But still our country people are fighting for the Right of information, because the decisions are not capable of fulfilling the demand of citizens. It is always expected of a regular, free and fair election and the Democracy has great success in this, but still in some places of our country, the elections are taking place on the basis of power and paisa. Yeah, the word now came which is today’s most desirable and powerful thing ‘Paisa’. Corruption is today’s most current affair. Everyone is speaking of nothing but corruption and lokpal bill. Having a democratic Government, it is expected of a Government free of corruption and we know how much our Government is free of it. In newspapers, there is no news but about scams’ black money, cases like note for vote are the proofs of our country’s being free of corruption. The Lokpal bill is still not passed and the Government’s bill is questioned and said that it is not capable of fighting to corruption.
It has been about 62 years that we are democratic, and still there is an unfair democracy in the country. Like we had taken about 2 centuries to get free of British rule, so again we will take such long time to get a good stainless Government in country, as it is India my jaan.

From Shivangi Sharma
THE ONLY LIFE
Life is never regular, it’s erratic
Nobody knows, what would happen
The next moment
But still we weave’s a dream, for what we live
Irrespective of whether we would be seeing
The next sun or not.
Human is strange,
When he is a child, his priorities are family and friends
When he slightly grows, the priorities changes
To his own dreams.
He live for that dream, forgets everything
In the drunkenness of dream.
But as life’s train is never on the same track
With constant speed it changes
And when this change is unfair with us,
The obstacle in our dream,
We forget those priorities which we were having as child,
We forget the importance of this only one life.
We, without thinking end it!
There was nothing in that moment
To conclude it with such step
Are we so coward that we cannot even fight with a single short moment?

Why to wait for the next moment
Do, face that moment at that time only
We live only once, the next chance will not
Come,
Work, dream, sorrow, happiness are part of life
Just can get the courage to defeat it in some way.
Why to see just the pain of sorrowful moments
Look at the other side of it
And you’ll find the aim of that bad thing,
This will let you know the importance of it.
It’ll make you stronger,
Like a ripened fruit in this vast tree,
A wonderful player of this game of life,
Which is not at all free.
