Bhopal Now Shapes, break new stories

"The blog has, in such a short period of time has become a powerful and sweeping means of communications in the hands of people and institutions. Today there are more than 200 million bloggers in the world. Fortune magazine has said that entrepreneurs can ignore the Economic Times, but not blogs. In fact, US President Obama used blogging as an effective tool during the presidential campaign. Blogging has coined the new term of participatory journalism’, as was recently demonstrated in the Iraq War where people used blogs in a very passionate manner. Israel is the first government that has its own official blog. Blogging in fact, now shapes, breaks and spins news stories. Starting today , even I am a blogger!"

DC Jugran , (Information Commissioner)
Blog is effective as it is personal

"During the Columbia Space Shuttle disaster, photographs released in magazines were not procured from official sources. They were from the citizens who got involved in reporting about the incident. Recently in the case of the American insurance company AIG which got a very handsome stimulus package as part of President Obama’s $1 trillion bailout, it was blog that reported that immediately afterwards $2.5 lakhs had been spent by AIG executive in space in California. A blog is something very personal, like a toilet habit. It is because it is so intimate that it is more effective than official reporting- it carries your personal flavour, your scent. Therefore, it leads to more truths than conventional reporting as it gets you past the filters."

Raghav Chandra, (Principal Secretary Urban Development)
Scratchmysoul.com is analogous to the human DNA which captures details in entirety

"By the month of may we will be forming ‘Madhya Pradesh Bloggers Association’ with core purpose of making the society well informed. Recently we have completed two successful years of our website which captures informed opinion about different organizations and this feature makes us different from the other social networking portals. Scratchmysoul is increasingly visited by the bloggers. Currently we have one lakh users registered on our website"
