India soybean rises on demand, Malaysia palm India's soybean futures rose in afternoon trade on Monday on an increase in physical demand, lower output and on firm Malaysian palm, analysts said.
"Oil mills are reluctantly buying to run operations. Still there is no parity between soybean and soymeal prices," said a miller based in Indore, who declined to be named.
Indian millers say prices make processing soybean economically unviable, since oil and meal do not command good prices. |
