Environment and Society I had set up a telescope and helped the enthusiastic children have a look at distant objects, the sun as well as the moon. It was a splendid opportunity to interact with the children who are less luckier then us. I have also actively participated in outreach programmes where I have visited Kamyani a school for the mentally and physically challenged.
I was able to bring a smile to their faces by participating in games and other activities with them.
have also visited Walburg Old age home in Pune on a similar outreach programme. Be it school or my neighbourhood, I have always taken an avid interest in tree plantation programmes and cleanliness drives. Besides I have also participated in organizing international marathons ion my city as a Scout. I also support a Government recognized orphanage in Pune and celebrate my special occasions such as birthdays with the children there. I consider my surroundings as my home and my society as my family members and I am ever so ready to serve my society and reach out to it in every possible way. |
