Paswan : Resignation drama is a political gimmick
Union minister and LJP chief, Mr Ram Vilas Paswan termed JDU MP’s resigning from the Lok Sabha as a political gimmick. He said

“Such actions are like gimmicks. It’s like claiming martyrdom for sacrificing fingers. It has no meaning,” Mr Paswan said, reiterating his party’s stand that they will not quit as announced by the two principal rival parties in Bihar, Mr Lalu Prasad-led RJD and Mr Sharad Yadav and Mr Nitish Kumar-led JD-U.

Mr Paswan had earlier too maintained that Mr Nitish Kumar should also resign. Mr Kumar had rejected this stating: “While we want President’s Rule in Maharashtra for failing to protect North Indians there, my resignation would only create ground for President’s Rule in Bihar.”
