Paswan termed Mahadalit Commission as a ploy to divide dalits

Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief and Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan
Said the 'Mahadalit Commission' formed by the Bihar government is nothing but a deliberated ploy of ruling JD(U)-BJP combine to divide the Dalit community.

Paswan said "It is unconstitutional and the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has rightly described it so. JD(U)-BJP combine know well that they cannot get votes of Paswan and others SC castes. Hence they formed the Mahadalit Commission to create divisions." Earlier NCSC has dubbed the 'Mahadalit Commission' constituted by Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar as "unconstitutional". Paswan said though the commission in Bihar was constituted to divide SCs, he did not oppose it as it could have been misconstrued by a group of Dalits that he was against their development. Now they have created a Mahadalit Commission later they will form an Ati Dalit Commission. This is all politics.
