Mamata meets Governor on Singur issue, CM joins in
Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is meeting West Bengal Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi on Sunday at latter's request in the efforts to break the Singur deadlock.

Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee also joined the meeting after the two had discussions for over an hour.

Senior Trinamool Congress leader Partha Chatterjee said Mamata was requested by the governor to come to Raj Bhavan for a discussion on "land-based issues in and around Singur".?

Earlier, Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee met the governor and discussed the issue. But the details of the discussion were not revealed.?

Talks between West Bengal governor and Opposition Trinamool Congress to end the Singur deadlock remained inconclusive on Saturday.?

Ruling Left Front also met on Sunday to discuss the issue. Mamata, however, announced from the dharna spot near Tata Motors small car plant that talks would go on along with the agitation.?
